Stop-losses on memecoins: what works and what does not

Why price-based stops slip on thin pools, and how to use a mental stop, position size and chart levels instead.

On a thin pool, a stop at -30% can fill at -60% because the next buyer is far below. Stops still help, but size is the real protection.

If losing 2% of your account is the limit and your stop is 40% below entry, the position is 5% of the account.
